Myth: Once you've had sex, it's too late to live a pure lifestyle

SO NOT TRUE! No matter what you've done, it's never too late to start over. The Bible says that when God forgives our sins He puts them away as far as the east is from the west. We are a new creation. How cool is that? Today is a new day! God's mercies are new each morning! Decide today to start over and start making choices towards a healthier lifestyle. Value yourself and your decision. It's NEVER okay for anyone to pressure you to do something you are not comfortable with. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and God places so much value on your life that He sent His son to die just for you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made...the Bible even says that you are God's masterpiece. How cool is that?!

Myth #1 - Everyone is doing it except you

Truth: Even if you feel like you're the last remaining virgin on the planet, studies say that about half of all teens have had sex. But do you know what that means? About half have NOT! Some reasons you may feel like you are the last virgin standing include the media, those who blab about their sex lives, and those who lie about it to somehow make themselves feel better. So if you are a virgin and feeling alone...hang in there! You're not alone. Keep commiting to saving sex until you are married. Commit to your passion, your success, to the excitement life has for you...because this is your life we're talking about, not just your virginity. Don't be ashamed to say you're a virgin when the topic comes up. But don't try to beat everyone up with it. Be confident in who you are and who Christ has made you to be! And if you're not a virgin, it's not too late. We'll talk more about that next time...
